EFCC Chairman makes shocking revelation about politicians in Nigeria
The chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa, has made a stunning revelation about Nigerian politicians in relation to his personality and official position.
Bawa has said that some politicians in the country think that he is too stubborn for them.

Bawa reveals how politicians see him
Bawa who stated this during an interview on Channels TV’s Politics Today was responding to a question on why some people were calling for his removal, Daily Trust reported, on Friday, March 18.
He said,

“How can somebody stand on his own, while we are 200 million Nigerians, and do the bidding of certain politicians that Bawa must go and others are saying Bawa must to stay? They are paid to do so. When it’s time for Bawa to go Bawa must go.
“The issues they are raising are baseless. They don’t know what they are saying to be honest. I am inviting them to come here so that they can discuss some of these issues.
“They are maybe wrongly informed. There is new government coming in that is why maybe they think Bawa is too stubborn for them. Then Bawa should go.
“When it’s time, Bawa will go, but the EFCC is going to remain. That is what they need to understand. Whosoever is taking from me whether it’s tomorrow or in the next two years I will guarantee you that EFCC will do what it has to do.”
Court sends 2 prominent PDP chieftains to prison over N142m election bribe scam
The Federal High Court in Bauchi has convicted two chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, Saleh Gamawa and Aminu Gadiya, for conspiracy and money laundering involving N142 million.
The duo were prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for receiving N142 million in cash to influence the outcome of the 2015 presidential elections in Bauchi state.
This was disclosed in a statement released by the anti-corruption agency on Saturday, March 11.
EFCC drags former Army chief of staff to court
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously that a criminal charge has been filed against the former army chief, Lt. Gen. Kenneth Minimah (retd).
The charge against General Minimah was filed before a High Court of the Federal Capital Territory by the EFCC.
Minimah is alleged to have diverted N13 billion meant for procurement of arms for the Nigerian Army.
