Popular Nollywood actress and director of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Monalisa Chinda in an emotional post on Instagram, talked about her kidnapped colleagues, Cynthis Okereke and Clemson Cornel.

Monalisa noted that Nollywood practitioners receive paltry sums for their services as they also had to struggle through life and health issues.

The actress wondered where the kidnapped actors will see a huge sum of $100,000 and noted that the numbers the kidnappers are using to communicate cn easily be traced.

Nollywood actress Hilda Dokubo took to her Instagram page to lament the current state of the Nigerian movie industry.

The veteran movie star commented on the outrageous N100k ransom that Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel’s kidnappers have demanded.

Hilda further noted that the kidnappers seemed to have misjudged the financial status of her colleagues in their captivity.
